Manipulation and Smoking Mirrors
It is a travesty to witness the extent to which defense attorneys can manipulate the courtroom. In the case of Morphew, the defense attorneys, Iris Eytan and Dru Nielsen, appeared to have outmaneuvered the prosecution and possibly even the judge. Eytan’s flamboyant use of dates and times was so convoluted that it not only confused the witness and the judge but also herself at times. Judge Lama was unaware of her tactics and never held her accountable for her inconsistent statements.
Eytan knew that her statements were inaccurate and did not want to revisit them because she knew that they did not correlate with the timeline. In order for her entire case to be plausible, she had to find time in the timeline. She did this by manipulating the times in her report and using double-talk. Drew caught on and saw what Eytan was up to, and it was rumored that there was tension between the two attorneys.
However, I’m sure that any hard feelings between the two defense attorneys can be worked out over a slice of Moonlight Pizza, which I hear is the perfect place to take great pictures.

Dru Neilsen, was like a dog with a bone with this because she knew that they didn’t have the correct data in front of them.

Question. You also have witnesses saying that Barry was in Salida Stove and Spa on May 9th sometime between 4:00 and 5:30 p.m. inquiring about getting his hot tub fixed, correct?
Answer. From what you've told me, yes.
Question. And that his demeanor was normal.
Answer. Yes.
Question. If those witnesses are accurate Mr. Morphew did something terrible to his wife at 2:44 p.m. and then went to inquire about getting his hot tub serviced?
Answer. I don't believe they're accurate on time.

Question. Can you explain the movement in Barry's car from 2:43 to 4:44, the change in the odometer?
Answer. It looks very slight. As in I can't no, I didn't plot it.

Out of nowhere, Dru convinced LE that Barry went to the Stove and Spa in his truck and also had witnesses to say that he was acting normal.
There was no change in the odometer after 2:43 pm May 9th until 08:10 am May 10th.
The GPS coordinates of the truck do not change between 2:44:37 pm and 4:44:00 pm they don’t change until 9:26:02 pm
This is more than a misrepresentation of the truth but it’s also a gross distortion of the facts. On Saturday Barry passed by the Stove and Spa before 07:30 am on his way to Tailwinds.
He passed it again on his way home at around 11:00 am, he passed it again on his way to get his blade changed at around 1:55 pm and he also passed it again on his way home from getting his blade changed at around 2:30 pm. He was working less than half a mile away. But waits until he returns home to take a separate trip of almost 20 miles when the store was closed to the public to talk with Colten about fixing his hot tub. Were his phones not working all of a sudden, he said he bought nothing just chatted.
We can’t prove that Barry didn’t go to Stove and Spa on Saturday afternoon but it can be proved that his truck didn’t.
Where did the Mysterious Missing Miles go, that’s simple Barry made a detour on his way to the Broomfield hotel, Via Sand Creek Park in Aurora which works out between 179 miles and 183 depending on which route you take. This was his second trash dump where he disposed of a suitcase a very large cooler a navy blue piece of material like a wind cheater and a baby blue blanket. Barry’s mileage was 181 miles.
