The same way some came up with 23 missing miles.

She used a car trip route planner app which said it

was 162 miles to the Broomfield hotel.

A phone app said 158 miles.

What is so important about these missing miles?

LE wants us to believe Barry used up the 14 missing miles before he left for Broomfield,

They believe Barry turned left on HWY 50 towards where the helmet was found,

And continued to 228 exit where Barry said he turned around,

before heading to Broomfield.

Iris Eytan wants us to believe that Barry drove to the Salida Stove and Spa on Saturday afternoon,

Sometime between 2:44 pm and 4:44 pm this would be after when the store had closed at 2 pm.

This is where she wants us to believe the 19 missing miles were used.
